To start off, sorry I haven't posted anything new in awhile, haven't had much to show or talk about, lol.
I have three new pieces of work that I did from the last two weeks of school. However, I only have one picture right now. :/ My teacher was in the hospital, so a lady had to take them there so he could grade them. Hopefully I get those back as soon as possible, so I can post them. I really love all of them. So here is just one of them:This one is with colored pencil. We had to pick a poem and draw a picture to represent it. I picked Petals by Amy Lowell. It says: "Life is a stream on which we strew petal by petal the flower of our heart: the end lost in a dream, they float past our view, we only watch their glad, early start. Freighted with hope, crimonsoned with joy..." And it continues on. The bold and italized words, are the words that I used to draw the picture. I really love how bold the colors came out on it. Btw, the reason why there is shine on it, it because I put it in a frame and up on my wall :D
As you know, Christmas is drawing very near, and I've been busy coming up with ideas for gifts. I have come up with four different paintings I'm was currently working on. I couldn't share them with you until after Christmas, but now I can, so here they are!
For my Granny: The top one is a DREAM. I drew stairs leading up to the gates of heaven, then at the bottom of the stairs, I drew angel wings representing a person-- could be either my Papa Ed or Noak Mark or her. Then I drew a cloud thing around it, so it looks like a dream. The bottom left one is the saint symbol- but I used it has representing a cross, and drew that coming out of a heart for LOVE. The last one-- bottom right-- is just a plain cross and I drew tiny hearts. I drew a heart at the top were Jesuss' head was, one on each side where is hands were, and then one at the bottom where his feet were for FAITH.
This one is for my Aunt. It's kind of funny, because I call her Cheesecake, so that's why I drew a piece of cheesecake. To add something to the photo, I drew a strawberry (which looks a little funkitated-- but that's okay), a cherry, and chocolate syrup, lol.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas! I really enjoyed mine!! Hope you like them!!
