First off, my trip to Canada was AMAZING. It was just my mom and I. We went as a graduation gift for me. It was in June and for a week. We flew from Houston to Seattle, Washington and then drove from there to Vancouver.
While we were in Seattle, we stopped at Pikes Place Market and this was some of the food we bought.
On our way into Canada, we stopped at my moms friend-- Noel's house in Bellingham, Washington. We meet them at their house and went out to dinner with Noel and Campbell.
This is Campbell, he is so cute. He was cold, so his dad put his jacket around him, lol.
We did a lot of things while in Canada, but that would take pages, because I have a 2639783 pictures LOL.
So last quarter, I had two classes and started in mid-quarter. Just so you know, a quarter is 11 weeks, and me starting in the middle, meant I only had about 5 or 6 weeks. My two classes last quarter were: Design Fundamentals and Color Fundamentals. Here are some pics:
This was a Design projects. Used construction paper and made objects, then glued them together on a white board.
Painting project for color class. Top left box is complementary colors-- colors across from each other on the color wheel. Top right is 3 different colors-- Split complementary. Bottom left is triad-- 3 different colors. Last one is tetrad-- 4 different colors. It's hard to explain exactly how you find the colors, so you might have to look up a detailed color wheel.
Both on the left are cool colors. The top left one has some warm spots in it. Both on the right are warm colors. The top right one has some cool spots.
Final painting I did for Color class.
This quarter I have SIX classes. Monday-- Observational Drawing and Perspective Drawing.
First project we ever did in Observational Drawing class.
Painting I did for one of the projects. I'll probably get this one framed soon, because I love it so much.
Project we did last week. I drew it all free hand by copying a photo I printed out.
1 point perspective drawing. Theme was rock music.
2 point perspective drawing. Theme was anime. The girl is sitting on a rail road track. Colored with color pencils.
So now you've been caught up to date on the projects I've done so far. I have more that I could have put up, but I'm getting tired and didn't want to upload more, LOL. Hope you enjoy all the pics. Let me know what you think!
Thanks for reading and have a great night! =D

Way cool! I'm glad that you have begun a blog; I will enjoy seeing your work thru this medium.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work!
You did a marvelous job on Donalds! I can see your progress each time you create a project.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I thought I did a good job on it too. But I used the wrong kind of paper, so the colored pencil looks weird.. Maybe I'll try to blend it in somehow.
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite is either the one you did for your final in color class or the first one for Observational Drawing. Maybe I'll get a framed one for Christmas.... :-)
ReplyDeleteMaybe :)
